The Institución Futuro is a catalyst of ideas and actions which designs and promotes a better socioeconomic future for the Navarra’s civil society. The analysis of public policies and the launch of innovative proposal obtained through researches and activities are the main tools to achieve the institution’s goals.

The institution is a centre of socioeconomic research that studies the development of the regions in the long term in order to inspire future action plans. Likewise, the Institución Futuro works as an observatory, detecting and applying the most outstanding trends from the Knowledge Society.

The Institución Futuro is an independent, non profit organization that was declared of social interest by the Government of Navarra. Its members belong to business and professional areas and have no political or ideological attachments. They seek to participate in the best possible future construction of Navarra through innovative proposals which are comprehensive and coherent with the economic and social reality of the region. Members of the Institución Futuro want the organization to be a space of strategic thinking that can provide quality knowledge to the medium and long term decision makers.

The organization analyses areas such as foreign investment, taxation and innovation, the public image of Navarra, the managerial spirit, the strategic prospective, the health services’ quality and immigration. Several researchers from economic and sociological fields, as well as a net of university experts, collaborate in the various projects. The Institución Futuro edits various periodical publications such as Opinion Review, a confidential of international news and Tendencias de Futuro, a compilation of diverse ideas and investigations from worldwide think tanks magazines. Moreover, the institution organizes conferences and specialized seminars.
